Parrots in Love!
Done on Lama Li using DS Paints. This is a March project for the yahoo group, Watercolor Workshop. It was fun to work with tube paints after working with w/c pencils so much lately. I AM thinking about redoing this using pencils, though, for an upcoming lesson on birds/animals. It was a good ref photo and I enjoyed painting it.

Hi Brenda, these birds are so cute. It looks like you've done alot of artwork lately with your birds, flowers, and sea scapes. I liked your description of the sandpaper and pencil technique....I'll have to try that.

Wow, Brenda! Where have I been, I've miss a bunch of your newer posts! The birds are very good, love the tulips (perfect), and Battery Point is GREAT, TOO!!! I haven't been out to the actual light house, so didn't know about the moss, but as much moss as I see up here, it sounds right...
